How does SIZING work? What if I want a CUSTOM item?

All of our products have measurements within the listing description. If you are unsure about your size, please send me a message & I will provide my suggestions for best fit.

We're all unique, I get that general sizing isn't about one size fits all!

Please contact me if you're interested in having a custom sized or personalized item. These special requests will be considered Final Sale products. No returns or exchanges! Additional fees may apply.

How do I WASH my new L&B product?

Most of my handmade products are best when hand washed and hang or flat dried. I love to be eco-friendly & eco-conscious! Bonus, it'll help your new merchandise last years upon years! Please refer to each individual listing to see care instructions & tips. If you have concerns about specific laundering care suggestions, please contact me.

Do you have FREE Standard SHIPPING options?

For a limited time, free tracked standard shipping to Canada (on orders of 2+ products) or USA (on orders more than $35 USD before taxes & after discounts.) Applies only to Expedited Parcel (Canada) & Tracked Packet (USA.)
Discount does not apply to shipping upgrades (Expedited [USA], Xpresspost or Priority).

What SHIPPING service do you use? Can I RUSH a shipment?

All Canadian orders ship via Canada Post Expedited & American orders via Canada Post/USPS Tracked Packet. Service upgrades are available at checkout. (Upgraded services MAY process quicker than standard options but there are no guarantees) Canada Post is experiencing significant shipping delays with all parcel services. I'm continuing to fulfill orders within my processing times but these service disruptions may increase shipping times. Etsy's automated delivery estimator may not be generating accurate delivery ranges for all customers. All shipments will include tracking & insurance. Parcels will be safely dropped into a postal office mailbox to avoid all human contact.

Do you charge CUSTOMS & DUTIES?

I ship orders without charging customs, duties or fees. You may be invoiced a monetary fee before/upon/after delivery of your parcel - which I cannot calculate or determine for you.
 For more information regarding your country's policies please contact your local customs office. All additional fees are the responsibility of the recipient of the parcel.

I will not mark any order as a gift &/or lower the actual value on the customs declaration. This request is illegal & fraudulent.
 All my shipments will be marked with the actual value of goods & as "Sale of Goods."
Marking your order as a on Etsy gift will not conceal the value or have the parcel marked as gift on customs declaration.

Are there currently SHIPPING DELAYS? Could I PICK-UP up my order in person?

Canada Post & USPS are experiencing significant shipping delays across all parcel services. Upgrading shipping services during checkout MAY deliver quicker than standard options but there are NO guarantees. In placing an order, you are acknowledging the risk that your order may be severely delayed in transit.
I ONLY ship via Tracked & Insured services. I will NOT ship via Lettermail (no tracking or insurance.) I do NOT offer curbside/local pick-up. ABSOLUTELY ZERO EXCEPTIONS!

I'm disappointed because I have an ORDER ISSUE!

If you have concerns about your order in regards to shipping damage/loss, product quality & fit, customer service or anything else; please contact me immediately. Please refrain from leaving a review that is less than 5 stars without contacting me first. I am prepared to work out any situation to make your shopping experience a positive one.



Shipping related issues can be brought to my attention. All my orders are shipped with insurance & tracking & I can easily investigate.

 Please consider the fact that delays to the delivery date are out of my control once I drop off your order to the shipping carrier.

Do you accept RETURNS or EXCHANGES?

Please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order. I will only refund the amount paid for your product (with taxes) not including original shipping charges. You will be held financially responsible for the return shipping fees. Refunds/exchanges will not be processed until the return package is received in original/unworn/unwashed condition, with tags (if applicable.) On the rare occasion that an incorrect item is shipped to you; I will accept full responsibility & correct the error. I do not accept returns on custom orders, this includes any item that was altered upon your request. Some exceptions apply, please see listing descriptions. NO returns or exchanges will be accepted on FACE MASKS.

Why do you charge TAXES?

Etsy charges & collects taxes on behalf of most shops depending on state. I do not & cannot control this.
I personally charge taxes on purchases within my home province of ONTARIO because I run a registered business & file income taxes.

Why should I shop with L&B?

You are directly supporting an independent Canadian artist - this is a 1 lady operation. I source all my supplies from small Canadian businesses to support the economy from coast to coast.

My fabrics are purchased in extremely small & limited batches & none of my products are mass produced. I focus on made to order to eliminate retail waste. I personally hand cut every product one piece at a time to reduce fabric scrap waste.

I continue to abide by strict social distancing guidelines to do my part in supporting my community. All while continuing to produce premium quality goods & services. All my supplies are ordered online & I ship my finished goods contactless-ly to reduce the risk of spreading this disease during the global pandemic.
